Macaw is not unlike several of Gottex’s new range. It takes something from nature, namely the plumage of an exotic bird and adds a few man made elements, making it a very original animal print. Rather than just printing a nature design onto the body, Gottex have given this swimsuit the appearance of a watercolour painting. This helps break up the tradition of hyper-realistic animal prints and softens the sharpness of that often comes with HD photography. This more gentle approach gives Macaw a sense of mystery and lets the colours truly come to life.
