Macaw is not unlike a number of different designs from Gottex’s new collection. It takes a piece of the natural world in the form of a bird of paradise’s plumage, but transforms it into something original. Rather than just stamping the fabric with a nature design, Gottex have softened it, and added a haze to the edges. It’s a more gentle approach that gives Macaw a more secretive look and makes this pareo a far more interesting and thoughtfully designed beachwear accessory.
